Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
(I) Academics
- The Subject Facilitators needs to ensure the following:
- Curriculum is delivered and implemented properly in the class in sync with the class work, homework and activities done.
- Result analysis and projections.
- Revision is conducted in a timely manner.
- Conducting Assessments and Examination · Preparing Report Cards and conducting PTMs.
- Ensuring syllabus completion on time.

2. Subject Facilitators also need to:
- Meet deadlines for marks upload as per the tools conducted.
- Planning of Home Work to be uploaded on Shri Connect (School ERP) on set day.
(II) Planning
- Sit through the curriculum planning meets and plan strategies for effective delivery.
- Attend subject meetings once a week · Check notebooks of all classes at regular intervals and report to HOD.
- Give proper and adequate feedback to students while correcting notebooks.
- Ensure that all correction work is done by the students, after checking of the notebooks.
- Follow the correction policy provided by the school · Be a part of planning and conducting Subject based events.
- Attend subject meetings once a week and maintain MoMs.
- Submit the Weekly Plans once a week to the AcCor for signature.
- Conduct micro lessons based on need.
- Attend subject meetings · Plan and conduct Subject based events with co teachers.
- Finalize book list with co teachers.
- Design Remedial Plans with co teachers.
- Ensure that excellent quality of teaching aids are displayed on the ‘Display Boards’ in the classrooms related to the on-going topics.
(III) Team Building
- Ensuring Team Work in the department.
- Ensuring positivity in the department.
(IV) Reporting
- Sharing required reports weekly with the HOD.
- Sharing subject related best practices and new resources with HOD, Subject Riders and co teachers.
Position Specifications:
Qualification - Master’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies + B.Ed. Teachers cleared TET/CTET preferred.
Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Political Science and Legal Studies to Senior Secondary classes. Excellent communication and English language skills along with computer proficiency is mandatory. CBSE school experience would be an added advantage.
