The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Student Services Coordinator works collaboratively with the staff of Education & Day Programs. The Student Services Coordinator guides and engages the agency's spectrum of Day Programs. The Student Services Coordinator serves as a voice for academic strategy within the Day Program department in support of NewPath's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.

What You Will Be Doing
- Schedule and attend all Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings for all students before the annual date.
- Keep NewPath in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) standards.
- Coordinate in developing IEPs with appropriate individuals ensuring the students' Specially Designed Instruction minutes are being addressed in a manner approved by the Director of Special Education.
- Coordinate with teachers for behavioral data collection.
- Provide input for teacher evaluations as it relates to collaboration on special education documentation.
- Maintain working relationships with student's NewPath team, home school district and/or external team.
- Participate in the planning meeting for student transitions.

- Complete all Critical Incident Reports, Non-Critical Incident Reports and Restraint Incident Forms by end of shift.
- Follow Ohio Department of Education standard operating procedures for special education.
What You Bring To The Table
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, Master's preferred or qualifying experience for additional administration duties.
- Current ODE education licensure as an Intervention Specialist in qualifying domain.
- Two years of experience working with high-risk youth population.
- Must have strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and teambuilding skills.
- Must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills and be flexible.
- Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fluency in education best practices, and experience training.
- Must have a valid driver's license, use of a vehicle and proof of valid insurance.
